SCHOOL VIOLENCE POSTER

Commission from Miami Dade County Public Schools: Miami Dade public schools requested that our class create a School Violence awareness poster for elementary, middle, and high schools. 

​

This poster shows an image of a maze shaped as a gun. As the red line guides you towards the end of the maze, words of action are shown such as pranking, making jokes, calling out names, etc.

The words become more serious and violent until you reach the end where it gives you two paths. The paths empasize what would happen if one pulls the trigger or doesn't. 

Using this maze, I wanted to illustrate how school violence could start off as something “fun” or “light” and end up in a serious consequence.
